Fox Sports Carolinas
Fox Sports Carolinas is an American regional sports network that is owned by Fox Cable Networks, a unit of the Fox Entertainment Group division of 21st Century Fox, and operates as an affiliate of Fox Sports Networks. The channel is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, sharing facilities with its sister national cable sports networks Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2.
The channel broadcasts professional, collegiate and high school sports events, with a primary focus on Charlotte area teams. It is available on most cable providers in North and South Carolina, with an estimated reach of four million cable television subscribers; Fox Sports Carolinas is also available nationwide on satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network.
==Overview==
Fox Sports Carolinas launched on October 31, 2008, and was created through the separation of Fox Sports South into three regional networks: the main Fox Sports South channel (originating from Atlanta), Fox Sports Carolinas and Fox Sports Tennessee.
